French born soprano, Anne Derouard studied in the prestigious Sorbonne (Paris) and received a Master of Musicology. She then obtained her Singing Prize as well as her Prize of Chamber Music and her Prize of Music Theory in Nice Conservatory. She had the honour to be invited by Dalton Baldwin to the International Music Academy of Villecroze in 2010.
She received different prizes : First Prize in the competition « Les Maîtres du Chant Français » ; Audience Prize, Third Prize in the International Competition of the Medoc, Finalist of the International Opera Competition in the Bolchoï ; First Prize and Audience Prize in the Bordeaux Opera House Competition. Recognized as a young Wagnerian voice by the Foundation Richard Wagner, she was invited to the Bayreuth Festival in 2011.
She is the guest of many stages in France and abroad : Germany, Italy, Slovenia, Ukraine, Croatia, Russia, Lithuania, Switzerland, Luxembourg...
She made her début with Dorabella in Mozart’s Cosi fan Tutte conducted by Oliver Holt, then she was invited to sing Aïda in Ukraine, and in 2013 she was Brünhild in Richard Wagner’s Walküre conducted by Amaury du Closel and Alexandre Myrat, directed by Pierre Thirion-
Last season she was invited in Berlin’s Philharmonie to sing Beethoven’s 9th Symphony conducted by Seitaro Hishikawa and then Rossini’s Barber of Sevilla for a tour in France with Opera Nomade and in Clermont-
She was involved in the creation of the burlesque show Les Deevaz directed by M.Dhombres and C.Bruster, recently rewarded by a “Petit Molière” in Paris.
She has just been a Grand Duchess of Gerolstein (Offenbach) where she received a standing ovation by the audience and was cheered by the specialized press at the Clermont-
This summer she was invited again to sing Rossini’s Barber of Sevillia at the Festival of Saint-
“Forum Voix Etouffées” has just asked her to sing Erich Zeisl's Requiem Ebraico with the Moravian Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by Pedro Amaral and Amaury du Closel for a tour in France and Lithuania.
Her outstanding vocal capacities and her talent as an actress allow this young dramatic soprano to approach the Grand French Repertoire as well as the German one, the Italian and the Russian ones, but also to move to lighter works such as those of Offenbach, Oscar Strauss…or the jazz’ standards.
Always in search of perfection, she works with the renowned New York coach Neil Semer who counts numerous talents in his institute like the famous Barbara Hannigan.
